Tools are provided as is

All tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without guarantees of any kind. We work hard to make them reliable, but we can't promise that every tool will work on every device, in every browser or with every file.

Please keep a copy of your original files. Our tools process files in your browser, so we never have a copy and can't recover anything for you.

Results vary

The result you get depends on your file, the settings you choose, your browser and your device. Two files that look similar can compress or convert quite differently.

• Compression is often lossy, which means some quality is removed to make the file smaller.
• Conversions between formats are approximate. Layouts, fonts and tables may not carry over exactly.
• Text recognition (OCR) and AI-based tools, such as background removal, can make mistakes.

Always check your output before you rely on it, send it or delete the original.

We also update tools from time to time to fix problems or improve results, so the same file may give a slightly different result after an update.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Tools that produce figures or follow official formats are there to help, but they are guidance only.

For example, a calculator gives an estimate based on the numbers you enter, and passport or visa photo sizes on the site reflect common requirements that can change. Before you submit anything official, check the current requirements with the relevant authority, and speak to a qualified professional when the decision matters.

Articles on our blog are written for general information. We try to keep them accurate and up to date, but software, file formats and rules change. Use the articles as a starting point, not a final answer.
